In the last minute of the game, goalie Riley Sims was challenged with a one-on-one and made a game-saving mid-air diving deflection to secure the win. She also had 4 saves.
01/07/10	ALISO NIGUEL 2 vs CAPISTRANO VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL 0 In its league opener, Aliso Niguel's Frosh/Soph girls soccer team came out victorious with a 1-0 win over Capistrano Valley. It was a physical game and with a minute left to go in the first half, Karina Hallam scored with a perfectly placed ball. The girls fought hard in the second half to have the score hold up. Keeper Riley Sims had 11 saves in the game.
