Message from the Athletic Director |
 |
2008-2009 Soccer Season
Athletic Director's Program Message
Welcome back
everyone to another year of
outstanding Aliso Niguel soccer. As
we enter this season it gives me
great pleasure to welcome you all to
what should be an exciting season
for both the girls and boys squads.
This year's season should be
outstanding with a new set of league
opponents to watch and welcome to
Wolverine Stadium. As we move from
the Sea View League into the South
Coast League this year's task of
winning a league championship will
be an exciting challenge.
|
|
The new stadium field and super high
tech goals give our field a fabulous
look and with the completion of the
track hopefully very soon the squads
will have a wonderful field to call
home very shortly. While this
construction takes place please
understand the construction
department is doing all they can to
finish up very quickly and have the
least amount of impact as necessary. |
|
This season,
when you watch the games please be
loud in supporting our teams and
respectful of our opponents at all
times. As an athletic director
nothing gives me as much pleasure as
knowing that our teams win or lose
will always act with class and
sportsmanship. Here at ANHS all of
our sports teams have adopted the
principals of the CIF 'Victory with
Honor' program and with that comes a
sense of pride that all student
athletes should feel great about.
Special thanks to all the parents
that have and continue to support
and volunteer their time and effort.
Without these individuals our soccer
program would not be where it is
today, ranked one of the best in
Orange County and Southern
California.
Finally, as I do ever year let me
say a special 'thank you' to all our
seniors. This years graduating class
will see the end of some great high
school careers. Not only will they
be leaving us with some great
memories but also their families who
have done so much will be hard to
replace.
Best of luck,
Mike Middlebrook
