Aliso Boys Varsity Gets Back To Winning Ways  With a 7-3 Win Over Trabuco on Friday Night

The Aliso Niguel Boys Varsity Soccer team returned to the win column night in impressive fashion with a 7-3 win over Trabuco Hills.  Nkosi Sampson opened the scoring on a header off a cross from Brady Harris.  Caleb Peterson added to his team leading goal scoring lead off a pass from Sawyer Sachen.  Luis Sanchez added Aliso's third goal on an amazing shot.  Sawyer Sachen made it 4-1 Aliso after a through ball was sent his way and he juked the goalkeeper to put the ball in an open net.  Nkosi Sampson added his second goal of the game just a few minutes later.  Trabuco Hills scored their second goal to make the game 5-2, but Brady Harris scored to increase the lead back to four goals.  Mikey Graney closed the scoring for Aliso.

In the JV contest that followed, Aliso battled Trabuco to a 0-0 draw and held on to to the top spot in the Sea View League standings.

In the Frosh-Soph game, Aiden Yagiz and Sam Mobayen scored to give Aliso a 2-1 victory.

Aliso Frosh/Soph and JV Record Wins Over Laguna Hills

The Aliso Niguel Frosh/Soph Boys Soccer team picked up a 5-0 win over Laguna Hills at home on Wednesday afternoon.  Aidan Yagiz scored two goals for Aliso while Sam Mobayen, Evan Buchs and Gavin Gagliardi each scored a goal.

In the JV game at Laguna Hills, Aliso scored early on a free kick by Keegan Shone.  However, the Wolverines fell behind 2-1 as Laguna Hills took the lead early in the second half.  Curtis Le Quang tied the game with 15 minutes remaining in the game.  Then, Kevin Lim scored the game winner on a left-footed volley with just five minutes remaining to give Aliso the win.

Aliso Boys See Tough Competition at Tesoro on Friday

The Aliso Niguel Varsity Boys Soccer team suffered its first loss of the season in a Sea View League match on the road at Tesoro.  Oliver Chavez was the lone goal scorer for Aliso as they fell 2-1.

In the JV game, Aliso gave up an early goal, but rebounded to tie the game, ending in a 1-1 draw.  Misha Feoktistov scored the goal for Aliso on an assist from Carter Futami.

In the Frosh/Soph game at home in Wolverine Stadium, Gavin Gagliardi scored the lone goal for Aliso in a 1-1 tie.  Tesoro scored its only goal on a penalty kick with just 30 seconds remaining in the contest.

Aliso Boys Draw and Defeat Dana Hills Wednesday

The Aliso Niguel Varsity Boys Soccer team battled to a 2-2 tie with Dana Hills on Wednesday night at Wolverine Stadium.  Senior Caleb Peterson opened the scoring on an assist from junior Luis Sanchez.  Sanchez got the assist on the second Aliso goal as well on a beautiful cross to Mikey Graney who one-timed a shot into the back of the net.  Dana Hills, however, scored two second half goals including one on a questionable penalty kick to tie the game.

In the JV game, Aliso scored two second half goals to break a 0-0 halftime draw and come away with its seventh victory of the season.  Evan Lunt scored the game's first goal off a Curtis Le Quang assist.  Pasha Mogadam scored Aliso's second goal on a shot from 20 yards out.

Aliso Boys Sweep Trabuco Hills Monday, January 6

The Aliso Niguel Boys Soccer teams won all three games versus Trabuco Hills on Monday to open Sea View League play.

In the Varsity game at Wolverine Stadium, senior Caleb Peterson and sophomore Sawyer Sachen scored two goals apiece while senior Spencer Smith added one of his own to give Aliso a 5-0 win.  The Varsity team is 7-1-3 this season.

In the JV game that followed, Misha Feoktistov and Mikey Graney scored for Aliso, but it was sophomore Kevin Lim's goal with one minute to play that was the game winner in a 3-2 battle with the Mustangs.  It was the first goals given up this season for Aliso as they improved to 6-0-2.

 

The Frosh/Soph team played on the road and came away with a 4-0 win and improved their record to 8-1 on the season.
